Format
Catch and release

Real anglers. Real releases. Real rank.

No weigh-ins. No harvest requirement.

No follower-count advantage.

How to enter

Make the proof as clear as the release.

Prepare your board, card, and camera before lifting the fish. If a fish needs immediate release, release it and skip the entry.

01

Show total length

Use a wet measuring board or tape. Your photo needs the whole fish, snout at zero, and a readable tail end.

02

Add the date card

Include a handwritten current-date card in the same frame: CatchLine / Bass Release Round / MM-DD-YY / your first name.

03

Show the release

Return the bass alive to the same waterbody as quickly as possible. A release photo or short clip helps verify it.

04

Post it publicly

Share your measurement photo or release clip publicly with #CatchLine and #BassReleaseRound after you submit.

Fish the water by its rules.

Anglers must follow all applicable FWC and local waterbody rules, including access, licensing or valid exemptions, gear, and any site-specific restrictions. CatchLine does not authorize fishing access or replace official rules.

Four ways to show up

04
